Wedding Bells Ring

Congratulations to Pastor Dave Braneky (Baptist Church of West Chester) and Janet Lyszkowski who were united in marriage on August 30th. Congrats and best wishes to Dave and Janet as they begin life together.

Celebrating Citizenship

During a recent worship service at GraceCrossings, Pastor Dan McDowell congratulated Grace who just received her American citizenship. Born in Uganda, it has been quite a journey! The church family joined in Grace’s joy and excitement, celebrating with reception after the service. It was a remarkable moment for Grace and for GraceCrossings who has supported her throughout the process.

Memory Game

At a meeting of the ABWM leadership team, Conference Registrar and Secretary Jodie Vasbinder had the ladies perform a team building exercise with each lady getting a glimpse of a building block configuration and the having to go back to their team to duplicate it from memory. The teams found it challenging to remember the complex design and did great working together to accomplish their mission.

Welcome Rev. Sam Geiger

Upper Merion Baptist Church celebrated the installation of their new pastor -the Reverend Samuel Geiger. Pastor Brad Lacey (FBC, Conshohocken) brought the charge to the pastor and Frank Frischkorn (ABCOPAD Regional Executive Pastor) had the privilege of bringing the charge to the congregation. Pastor Bob Coats, a mentor for Sam for a number of years, led in the prayer of installation.

Souled Out

Cornerstone Fellowship in Coatesville held their annual Souled Out Community Concert / Festival.

Despite an overcast sky, people from the church and community came out to listen to a variety of Christian bands, enjoy delicious food, check out local vendors and just enjoy a fun afternoon together.
