2014 Fall Abington Association Gathering

 




On November 9th the Abington Association held its annual fall meeting at the Trinity Baptist Church of Scranton, Rev. Ginger Daubenhauser pastor.  Almost all congregations in the association were represented for this evening of worship and thanksgiving.  LaMarr Coe (Shiloh Baptist Church) concluded her term as Moderator with Ronald Stock (FBC Factoryville) being elected as the new moderator and Pastor Ken Knapp (FBC Waverly) elected as vice-moderator.

Retirement Celebration at FBC Crafton

 

 

 

The First Baptist Church of Crafton (Pastor Pat Stetz interim) held a special service on November 2nd. Following morning worship, a retirement celebration was held for Rev Marie Brown. It was an honor being present and hearing so many testimonies sharing how Pastor Marie's ministry touched lives both within the church and the wider community.
