Pause and Pray
Beginning January 1, 2022, wherever you find yourself at 8:22 am and/or 8:22 pm (2022 in military time), we are asking every member of our region family to PAUSE AND PRAY for one minute for our region during this year of transition.
- Pause and Pray for the region’s leadership,
- Pause and Pray for our transitional staff,
- Pause and Pray for the continuing present ministry, and
- Pause and Pray for the vision process and its yet to be discerned outcome.
Through this DAILY practice, our 300+ churches and our 40K+ clergy and congregants will be connected together to God and each other by the presence of the Holy Spirit, praying in and through the power of Jesus’ name. So right now, set your alarm clocks, kitchen timers, cell phones for these morning and evening prayer times, a biblical practice dating back some three thousand years (Psalm 5:3 and 141:2).
ABCOPAD Regional Prayer Meeting - Wednesdays, 8 p.m
In complement to the daily Pause and Praise time, we will be holding a weekly Wednesday evening, region-wide prayer meeting throughout January from 8 to 8:30 pm, inclusive of the 8:22 (morning and evening prayer time) when we will pause and pray. Join us!
