 KINGDOM
BUILDERS

Kingdom Builders is an ABCOPAD volunteer program to help small churches acquire worship and Christian Education Facilities - by actually building and improving facilities.  Escalating cost have made it almost prohibitive  for some congregations to afford better facilities.  We must a find new way; KINGDOM BUILDERS is an answer.

Update from Robert Singley, Oct 20, 2006:

We were awarded a great opportunity to work at the First Baptist Church of Pottsville and we want to thank Pastor Al Hegar and the congregation. Due to the great response of men and women helping with the two rooms in the church, The Kingdom Builders and other helpers were able to finish the job in less time. ABMOPAD Bob Singley President

Message from Robert Singley, Oct 9, 2006:

In keeping with the ABCOPAD Biennial theme, "Faithful Through all Ages". The ABMen of our region will be at the Pottsville Baptist Church the week before on Oct. 18-21. Being faithful to one another by helping with a work project at the Church. As President of the ABMOPAD, I think it is fitting the we be faithful to one another. If any one desires to help the Kingdom Builders and the Church, with this project they can contact Bob Singley at 610-872-8580 or bobsingley@msn.com, Thanks,  Robert

Message From Mike Metzger:

Dear Pastors and Key Lay Leaders of the Pittsburgh Area Churches,

KINGDOM BUILDERS is a volunteer service organization which will provide labor and leadership for the construction of new churches, and assistance to congregations which need help in repairing or renovating their facilities. Teens, women and men of our Pennsylvania and Delaware congregations are invited to volunteer time, skills and tools to assist member congregations in need. It is also anticipated that those who are able and willing may respond to in-state disaster situations, and perhaps even those out of state. Quite a number of ABC congregations need help maintaining their church homes. Carpenters, painters, electricians and general helpers could provide the assistance needed in many situations.

Request for assistance should be channeled through respective Area Ministers.

We need Baptists - teens, women, and men - who are willing to commit their gifts and time to work on a project in one of our two states. Please read through this bulletin and see what it's all about. And I truly hope to see you in one of our building projects.

To see some of the projects that the KINGDOM BUILDERS have done please see the website at http://www.abmopad.org/. At this site is information for American Baptist Men of PA & DE and Disaster Relief Trailer Ministry.
