Creation Festival 2008

Our North Country Group at Creation was all in agreement. It was an amazing year. We all felt the speakers were the best group ever, and in our opinion all the music groups had moved things up a notch from last year - in every way. The quality of the presentations was great both musically and spiritually.

Our group had some memorable moments. The mud swallowed up Nick's sandal - (yes we had a nice little muddy area near the tents) - but after some muddy searching it was finally retrieved. Brian and Andrew entered the break dancing contest and ended up with their picture on the big screens! Several got to go to the Talk Back sessions and met TobyMac and Barlow Girl and Hawk Nelson to name a few. The wind threatened to bring a couple of the tents down, but we made it through some how. And we got compliments from our neighbors who said how much fun it was to watch our group making up our own songs and dances. That was great. We were even told that our group's choreography was better than the one on stage! Every night we shared the high points of the day - the moments where we saw God at work in us and in others! We will be back next year - that is for sure!
