On June 4th a ground ceremony was held at 209 – 213 Spruce Avenue in Altoona for the ABCOPAD Habitat Build. Despite the heavy rain fall that started about half way through the service, the Groundbreaking Ceremony was a wonderful success. A large group arrived at the build site with shovels in hand to break ground and official start the build. Local television news stations and the local newspaper sent reporters to document the event. There were definitely "Showers Of Blessings" falling in abundance as the group spent time reading scripture and in prayer asking God to watch over the upcoming build. Pictures of the event along with video have been posted on the ABCOPAD web site. It is our hope you will choose to get involved in this significant mission project open to our entire region by donating to the build or actually coming out to the build site to help.
