ABCOPAD Habitat For Humanity Mission Project: Primary Web Page
On July 16 excavation work began on the ABCOPAD Habitat site. The address of the Habitat Site is 209 - 213 Spruce Ave. in Altoona. After experiencing some delays in getting the proper permits and city approvals, the excavation crew received the green light and began digging out the foundation. On Thursday a member of the ABCOPAD staff video taped the work.
Clearly the basement is almost completely excavated and barring rain, foundation should be in the next two weeks. That will mean the site is ready for volunteers to start to build on Monday, August 4th. Please continue to pray for this mission endeavor as well as consider joining the crew at the build.
