The Northumberland Baptist Association Family Fair took place on June 22. The event was held at the First Baptist Church of Milton starting at 3:00 pm and concluding at 6:30 pm. Young and old gathered together throughout the day. Activities included: inflatable games for the kids, outdoor games such as a water balloon toss, kick ball and carnival type challenges, face painting, food, music, fellowship, speakers, displays and worship. For many, there was a chance to dine while listening to Christian musicians. Krissy Kline from Moreland Baptist Church and the Sauers Family from Calvary Baptist Church did an outstanding job providing inspirational music in the large fellowship hall. A number of church teams experienced the thrill of competition as a Bible Jeopardy game tested their knowledge of scripture. The event concluded with a time of worship. Jared Snyder from Hughesville Baptist Church sang for the congregation. A time of sharing was provided with various members of the NBA sharing praises to God for recent victories in their local church. The day came to a close with a time of prayer. Prayer was offered for each church in the association. It was a glorious day of fun, food and fellowship with both our Lord and with our brothers and sisters in the Northumberland Baptist Association.
