On Friday and Saturday (January 18 - 19) CLI West students gathered together at Villa Maria near Sharon, PA to attend a comprehensive Mission Course. Eight Students, a CLI Administrator and two instructors spent 12 hours studying American Baptist Missions. ABCOPAD Executive Minister, Rev. Frank Frischkorn was the primary instructor, beginning the class with a detailed study of the biblical and theological rational for missions. Frank explained that the Bible, from cover to cover is in fact a book sharing God's mission to humanity. Looking closely at Acts 1:8 "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth,” Frank shared how our current mission structure helps us to fulfill Christ's command.
