June 24 - July 1, 2017

Multi-Generational Mission Trip

This mission trip is open to all ages. The trip is being designed to create serving opportunities for all ages. Our hope is to bring people of all ages from accross ABCOPAD to serve in La Paz, Mexico and the surrounding areas. We will be doing clean-up and construction and serving alongside a church and a camp to minister to children.

Trip Purpose and Focus

We will be partnering with two ministries in La Paz, Mexico to help them as they try to reach the neighboring communities with God's love and a hope for a brighter future.

Church Plant - One of the churches is Primera Iglesia Bautista de La Paz (FBC La Paz). It is one of the Baptist congregations in the city of La Paz. They are active in many kinds of ministry and have thriving discipleship ministries. We will be helping FBC, La Paz, with a church plant in the town of Los Planes (50 minutes from La Paz). The church in Los Planes has outgrown its current structure, which it is renting, and has begun construction on a new structure, on property that it owns. Pastor Juan Carlos is pastor of this church and is eager to complete the new structure so that they can stop paying rent on the first property. We will be helping with outside clean-up and construction work on their new church facility. (See Pic above)

Ranch El Camino - We will be helping to get the 40-acre camp ready for their summer camp programs. There will be construction work, gardening, painting and you just never know! You might be asked to ride a horse in the Baja Desert. We will also spend sometime each day in the local community serving families and children with Pastor Juan Jose Murua. We will have the opportunity each day to visit the local community and spend time with children playing sports like baseball, softball, soccer or volleyball.
