Director of Youth Ministries Needed At the North Hills Community B.C.

North Hills Community Baptist Church is an American Baptist Church with members from many denominational backgrounds. It could be described as open and ecumenical. The opportunity is here to work in a growing church with gifted, highly motivated people. There is strong pastoral and lay leadership yet openness exists for new ideas. Near Ross Park Mall and about one mile off McKnight Road, the church sits on spacious grounds and has modern facilities. There are 355 members and worship attendance averages around 170. This position is for a part-time Director of Youth Ministries.

Job Description
The position is estimated to require 20 hours per week, and the staff member will report to the Senior Minister.
• Attend 9:45 a.m. Sunday School with youth and 11 a.m. worship
• Plan the Youth Programming, working closely with the volunteer leaders.
• Facilitate the Sunday night Jr./Sr. High youth group meetings, working with volunteer leaders.
• Administrative and logistic lead for youth programming
• Organize and lead summer mission trip(s)
• Cultivate and recruit new youth volunteer leaders.

$1230.00 a month
