2012 Break The Chains Stop The Pain Grants Available

American Baptist Women’s Ministries launched its ―Break the Chains: Slavery in the 21st Century‖ national mission project in 2007, with a goal to raise $250,000 to encourage new ministries dedicated to ending sex trafficking in the U.S. and in other countries. By 2010, over $480,000 had been raised. AB Women’s Ministries realized that its work had just begun and decided to continue the national mission project with a new theme, ―Break the Chains and Stop the Pain, dedicated to ending oppression of women and girls worldwide. In 2011-2014, the focus is on violence. AB Women’s Ministries is seeking grant applications from organizations working to end violence against women and girls.
