Brazilian Missionaries Ann & Bruce Borquist In Need Of Help

We need your help.  You may remember that every year, we teach an intensive "English for Missions" course to prepare new Brazilian missionaries for service in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and North America.  This year our course runs for the entire month of March (March 1 to 31).  In November, we received a message that six people were seriously considering coming as volunteers so we didn't send out our usual "come help us with the English course" email appeal.  This week (mid January) we received another message saying that only one or two of those folks might be able to come - and only for a week.

Now you understand our call for help.  Is there someone in your church that has a heart for this kind of ministry or that would be excited about doing mission "hands on"?  Perhaps the church could even help them with part of their travel expenses.

This person needs to be firmly grounded in Christ, friendly and open toward others, a "Barnabas" type person (an encourager), playful and flexible, and of course fluent in English.  It would be a bonus if this person had teaching experience, but that is not a requirement.  Ideally, we like to have at least 4 people who can stay for a two-week period each (or, in other words, 2 people for the first half of March and 2 for the second).

Confiando nEle (trusting in Him),
