Hughesville Baptist Church Dreams of their Future
and Dedicates Land to the LORD
The Hughesville Baptist Church came together this past Sunday evening to dream about their future and dedicate a piece of property unto the LORD. The congregation believes that God has a future for them that will include a move to a new location, and while they are not ready to begin construction yet, they did want to take the first step in the process by dedicating the property and themselves to the LORD.
Regional Executive Pastor Frank Frischkorn brought the message for the service, based on Ezra 3:10-11, with the title, "A Groundbreaking Event". Even though the gathering didn't include an actual 'groundbreaking', Frank shared that the very fact that they as a congregation were believing God for a new and expanded future of ministry was in itself 'groundbreaking'.
Following the service, all enjoyed a time of fellowship and ice cream sundaes...a welcome treat on a hot and sultry evening!
