FBC of Kennett Square 'harvesting' the blessings
from their Interim Pastor

Pastors bring so much to the table when they become a part of a church family, and Rev. Jim Olsen is no exception.  A gifted preacher and leader, Jim has brought many gifts and skills to his time as the Interim Pastor at the First Baptist Church of Kennett Square.  One skill and passion that isn't on his resume, but definitely is an important part of his life is his love for tractors--and more specifically John Deere tractors.  For a number of years, Jim has had a fascination for these green and yellow painted, diesel drinking machines..  He loves to talk about them, and he loves to restore them.

The First Baptist Church of Kennett Square has reaped the harvest of that love for tractors by their Interim Pastor as you'll see from the photo above....The green machine in the front of the hay wagon is one of Pastor Jim's, and he was thrilled to provide it for a part of the Harvest Sunday display.  He also said that there is some conversation about possibly having a display of more than twenty John Deere tractors in the parking lot next spring, all made available by some of his fellow John Deere enthusiasts.

FBC, Waynesburg had a 'Touch a Truck' outreach a number of weeks ago....
Might FBC, Kennett Square be planning a 'Touch a Tractor ' event?....time will tell!
