Free Resources for Clergy and Congregations on Ministries with People with Disabilities
The audio presentations from the 2010 and 2011 Summer Institutes on Theology and Disability at the Lutheran Seminary in Gettysburg are available in two ways. First, they can be downloaded for free from http://rwjms.umdnj.edu/boggscenter/products/Product_FaithBased.html.
Second, clergy or lay leaders who would like a complimentary copy of the CD’s from each year can request one while supplies last by completing the box below and emailing Beth Ong at ongel@umdnj.edu. Topics include Biblical studies, theology and disability, inclusive religious education, preaching and worship, sessions on depression, Alzheimer’s, autism, and deafness and more., The website has a complete index listing of the presentations and other resources. For information on ordering the CD’s in bulk quantity, email Bill Gaventa at bill.gaventa@umdnj.edu. These resources are made possible by the Faith Community Leadership Project of the Pennsylvania Developmental Disabilities Council. Please feel free to share this with other clergy and congregations in your community.
