DaVinci Last Supper

The Last Supper Drama was presented at Moreland Baptist Church on Maundy Thursday. This was their 30th year of this production. The men of Moreland Baptist recreated DaVinci's masterpiece and revealed their own struggles with their own thoughts on who would betray Jesus. "Is it I, Lord? Is it I?"

Liberty Baptist, Blanchard, Seder

This year, members of Liberty Baptist Church of Blanchard gathered together to observe the Passover Seder. Pastor Christopher Davis led the event, following the Haggadah fulfilling the Scriptural commandment to each Jew to "tell your son" of the Jewish liberation from slavery in Egypt as described in the Book of Exodus in the Torah.

FBC Lewisburg Palm Sunday

Mark Mahserjian Smith had the opportunity to worship at the First Baptist Church of Lewisburg. Rev Mackenzie Scott has been the pastor at the church for 32 years and will be retiring at the end of April. On Palm Sunday, Pastor Mac had the great joy of baptizing two young people making a public profession of their faith. The sanctuary was pretty full and lots of kids came forward for the children's message as Pastor Mac talked about the significance of Palm Sunday.

Worship at Love Unlimited

Mark Mahserjian-Smith joined in worship with the congregation of Love Unlimited. Pastor Dorothy and Pastor Willie Anderson are leaders of the church along with Minister Curly Jett who delivered the message. We celebrated communion together. It was a great joy worshiping with these partners in ministry.

FBC Port Allegeny Revival

Jeff Johnson began a three day, four service Holy Week revival series at the First Baptist Church of Port Allegany where Pastor Mike and Angie Culver serve. The messages are all taken from passages of scriptures read by the congregation over the past two months. The service started with a grandma and her granddaughter lighting the electronic altar candles (though they looked really real) which allowed the youngest in the church to participate. The church choir provided special music. The church has a tremendous meet and greet time during the service when truly everyone feels welcomed. There were visitors present as there just about every Sunday. Jeff had the opportunity to shake the hand of a 4 week old baby and a 90 year old woman, who just happens to be the mother of Pastor Moses at Riverview Baptist Church in New Eagle, PA. There were many responses to the invitation at the end of the service. Pastor Mike and Angie who have now been at the church for fifteen years have such a heart to see people come to Christ and grow in their faith.
