Who We Are
The Pittsburgh Baptist Association has brought Christ's caring presence to the Pittsburgh region since 1839. This has been accomplished through the ministries of the 56 churches. Our goal has always been to unify a global awareness of Christ's presence in the Pittsburgh area.
The Purpose the Board put forward is that the Pittsburgh Baptist Association is called to be a caring community of churches seeking to impact our region for Christ.
The Vision of the PBA is to assist churches in producing committed disciples of Jesus Christ.
The Strategies PBA will use to fulfill this vision are to:
- Prepare leaders for vital ministries
- Build healthy churches
- Advance the mission of God's Kingdom
