Ken Webster is Ordained to the Gospel Ministry
at the Parkerford Baptist Church
After all of the 'Winter' that we have had this year, everyone wondered what the day would be like, but God 'shined' on the celebration of Ken Webster's Ordination by providing a beautiful sunny afternoon for the festivities!
The day of celebration featured the preaching ministry of the Reverend 
Dr. Z. Allen Abbott, currently a staff member with the Ministers and Missionaries Benefit Board, but also a long-time friend of Ken's through his work as former Executive Director for ABMen USA. Also participating in the service were The Reverend Jonathan Kline, Pastor of the Parkerford Baptist Church, Rev. Dale Miller, former SE Area Minister for ABCOPAD, Rev. Dr. Alan Selig, Interim SE Area Minister, ABCOPAD, as well as the Rev. Frank Frischkorn, Executive Minister of ABCOPAD.
The music for the day of celebration was provided by the combined choirs of the Parkerford Baptist Church, as well as Friends from the Royersford Baptist Church Choir. Ken's wife, Terry, also made the day special by offering a solo in honor of Ken's Ordination, as well as sharing in a vocal benediction duet with Rev. Kline.
Following the service, the entire congregation enjoyed a
time of food and fellowship in the church's Fellowship Hall.
