80th Birthday Party for Rev. Don Walls
On a beautiful Sunday afternoon, July 29, hundreds of well-wishers came together in the fellowship hall of the Mount Moriah Baptist Church, Smithfield, PA to celebrate the 80th birthday of Rev. Don Walls, which had occurred earlier in the month. Don had been the pastor of the church in the 1980's and 1990's and since has served a number of interims in the region, presently at FBC, Coraopolis, Moon Twp. Family (a picture included) and friends from near and far away, as well as present and previous colleagues in ministry from all over western Pennsylvania, gathered to share in the wonderful occasion. There were lots of people, lots of food, lots of conversation, and lots of memories. We thank God that Pastor Don is such a vital partner in ministry here in ABCOPAD. We pray for 80 more years of health and strength to serve the Lord and His Kingdom.
